St. Joseph’s Vanguard:

We are blessed to have 27 young men in our diocese currently offering their college years to discern and prepare for the priesthood at St. Joseph College Seminary. Together at last under one roof, they have stepped out in faith to begin their formation. As Bishop Jugis said, “Community is essential to the formation of a priest. We must build a seminary structure where these men can all live together.” You are invited to join us in praying that the people of Charlotte respond with generosity and fidelity to our capital campaign to complete a permanent home where the seminarians can continue to discern God’s call and become strong and faithful priests in perfect imitation of Jesus Christ.

St. Joseph, Most Chaste Spouse of the Mother of God, during your earthly pilgrimage you labored faithfully to protect and provide for the Holy Family, and your work continues from heaven as you protect and provide for the Holy Catholic Church. We have chosen you as our patron so that we may form holy priests in imitation of your most sublime virtues, and so that we may join in your labor for the salvation of souls. Thus bound to you, we humbly implore you to provide for the many spiritual and financial needs of our seminary. Come to our aid, we who so closely depend on your support, through the graces you have merited to obtain for us from the Divine Child Jesus. Amen.
