Anticipation is mounting as move-in day for our new college seminary draws near. Last week I shared an exterior update of the property - and today I’d like to offer a preview of the interior of our new home.

A few things have been completed since we shot this video. A lot of details are now complete on the residence side. Bathroom fixtures, mirrors and towel rods are in. Today, crews are busy doing trim work. Flooring is also in, although crews are finishing up some staining. They’ll be working on those items on the admin side soon.
In addition, the doors are now in place, which means the lifts are gone from the chapel. Stalls for our chapel will be installed over the summer.
Although there is still work to be done, the major structural work on the building is complete. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing have all been tested – and techs are currently balancing the air for the HVAC.
Our kitchen cabinets and countertops have been installed, as has our dishwasher. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the remaining appliances, including five sets of commercial washers, made for a household of men. Each washer completes its wash cycle in 15 minutes….but we’ll share more on that later!
